DOCUMENTATION / GETTING STARTED

Start here. Build from there.

A short path from the repository to a running interface. You can explore the website and application before configuring the authentication backend.

Before you start

Use the versions pinned by the repository. Repository access is required to clone the source.

  • Node 24.15.0
  • pnpm 12.15.0
  • Git

01 Get the workspace

Clone the repository, enter the workspace and install its locked dependencies.

terminal / workspace
git clone https://github.com/visomi-dev/visomi-stack.git
cd visomi-stack
pnpm install --frozen-lockfile

02 Choose your entry point

Run one target in your terminal. Keep it running while you explore its local URL.

Public website

Astro development server. Start here for the website and UI catalog.

Public website
pnpm nx serve web-site

Open: http://127.0.0.1:4200/en/

Product application

Angular SSR development server, running independently.

Product application
pnpm nx serve web-app

Open: http://localhost:4201/app/en/

Composed gateway

Builds and mounts the compiled Astro site and Express API.

Composed gateway
pnpm nx serve web-gateway

Open: http://localhost:3000/en/

Ready to configure identity?

Authentication needs PostgreSQL and explicit secrets and provider configuration. Without that configuration, auth routes fail closed. The public site can still be explored.

03 Find your way around

Applications keep runtime entry points; shared libraries contain the concerns used across them.

visomi-stack / workspace
apps/web/site/ Astro website
apps/web/app/ Angular application
apps/web/api/ Express API
apps/web/gateway/ HTTP composition
libs/web/frontend/ui/ Shared visual recipes

Verify your changes

Run the configured Nx targets for the part of the stack you change. Website browser checks exercise the compiled site through Express.

terminal / Nx
pnpm nx run-many -t build lint typecheck -p web-site
pnpm nx e2e web-site
